Kybella

The active ingredient in Kybella® is synthetic Deoxycholic acid, which is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that helps break down fat. Kybella is commonly used to treat submental fullness under the chin (commonly referred to the double chin) to achieve a sharper jaw, chiseled chin, and a more youthful appearance.
Kybella® is a nonsurgical treatment that contours and improves the appearance of submental fullness under the chin and can also be used anywhere on the body to eliminate fat. Kybella can also help you achieve non-surgical body contouring.
When Kybella is injected, it destroys fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fat. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal.
Although treatments are customized for each patient, most people will enjoy visible results after one to two treatments. Full results are seen with an average of four treatments. There is minimal to no downtime, side effects or discomfort and the results are permanent.
